I have a "countdown" to a non-existent event in my signature.
Can't remove it via options either.
It just showed up.... any ideas?

that is not upgrade related, but if you go to your usercp, then edit options, you can count down to any evernt you want ;)
What if he doesn't want to countdown to any event. How does he make it go away? Easier said than done?

well...you dont have a count down in yours ;) so he must have entered something....

yours is currently set to view (show) so it will show no matter if you put anything in there or not...so switch it to not show if you would rather it not show or put some info in there to count down to ;)

uploads are not working....I am trying to get it figured out with our host....hang tight and let me know if you find anything else that is not working please.
Brvheart, I don't know if it's just me....but your avatar is not showing up and some of the "gifts'' are missing too. What I see are empty boxes with a little x in the middle of them.

did you try to refresh, I see everything fine....I know that sometimes after I post a thread my sig and gifts, etc. will all be MIA too. But if I go to another thread and then return...there back:p

I don't think that's it, cause I've been on and off half a dozen times since then and the problem is still there.
Some of the smilies are showing either.
I'm going to be at work for about a half day today, so I'll check from my computer there too.

Did this happen after the updates and server move or before as well? Usually this is a setting inside of your internet browser, I see everything just fine on my side....

It started after the update. Before no problems with this.

The only thing I notice is that after I click on a link, the page freezes for about 20-30 seconds then it changes and everything is fine.
Brvheart, I changed my browser setting to maximum compression of pictures and now I can see all the gifts and smilies.
I still can't see your avatar, but I can see everyone elses. I'm starting to take that personally. :)
So, I'm thinking that it's a dial up issue, since I'm the last person left on earth that has it (according to Storm).
We might try shutting off one of the features of the site temporarily just to see if that is it. The only thing new that I see is the banner on the top advertising the upcoming event, but you probably know of more.

I'm so far out in the boonies I can't even get a second phone line. My satellite guy tells me it should be available in my area in about a month....so it should be here within a year....:( I will be signing up about 15 minutes after it arrives.

Problem #1
Adobe Flash Player 9
A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?
^^^Starting late last night when I tried to get into the chat room I get this error. I better click "yes I want to abort" or everything freezes up.
FBN is having problems too, but I'll let him describe them.

Problem #2
Previously when I uploaded a radio show it embedded into the post just fine and dandy. Now it shows up as an attachment. Am I forgetting something or has something changed? See this thread ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) for an example.

I had to shut the play in line media off for now....trouble with the host that he can not pin point :(
as for #1 I need a little more info as I do not see this issue on my side ever...

This may have to do with your settings on your browser...I do not ever get booted....
I hadn't had problems till I typed up that first post on this. I can't think of anything I've changed in my browser settings.... Maybe something will come to me.

i seem to be ok once im in the chatroom i dont get kicked but the odd time i get the abort script thing but i get that less often now

every time i get into the chatroom i sit there and then when someone elese enters i get kicked off the net 100% not just the chat room but the internet all together...
