IGN.com has announced that GSP has been officially added to the UFC Undisputed 2009 roster.

what changed your mind?im pretty sure im gonna be disappointed with it,because i know how thq wrestling games gameplay sucks very complicated

The gameplay shots I've seen looks pretty choppy. I've never really cared for THQ games, but like brv said, I'll probably get it for the love of the sport.

i agree grabaka ive never been a huge thq fan either really.one of the keys to a great game is gameplay without that the game will suck,i bought one wrestling game for the 360 just to see if they had changed the gameplay any and because i got it cheap.i played it a total of maybe 30 minutes because the gameplay is just to frustrating to have any fun.i enjoy fighting others online but if you are battling yourself more then others because of gameplay then it loses its fun really quick,i see this one as no different than the wrestling gameplay from what i have seen.looks like alot of button mashing just to get the guy to throw a kick or punch.only moves i could do in the wrestling game i have is body slam and kick and punch lol.its ridiculous

Personally, I liked the THQ Wrestling games (like Wrestlemania 2000). I'd like to think that 9 years later, it is going to be even better.

Yeah the game play might be complicated, but when you want to make things realistic, it is going to be complicated.


The roster looks good. I kind of hope they have some sort of Open-Weight mode. To be honest, I am sure I will get tired of only being able to fight 14 or so fighters in each division.

I hope they get guys like Damian Maia on the roster. It just sucks that Cro Cop didn't stay around long enough to get into the game. Oh well, hopefully they will have a solid create a fighter feature.

I hope Tim Kennedy signs with the UFC sometime soon. Maybe they'll squeeze him on... :D

im hoping they will,but if i remember right thq doesnt do that with their wrestling games so i dont know if this will be any different

I would love that to be honest. Somehow, I don't see it happening. Only reason being that it I am sure it costs a ton of money to do each fighter with accuracy.

I mean, unless they re-sign someone like Arlovski, Cro Cop, Babalu, or if they sign someone new who is big like Barnett, Fedor, Rogerio, Gomi, etc... I don't think they would waste their time.



Now, what they might add is a weightclass change update (i.e. Swick moves back up to MW and becomes a MW fighter.

Have they said if they were going to have WEC fighters in the game? I'd love to see guys like Condit(headed to UFC anyway), Varner, Cowboy, Brown, Faber, Torres, etc in the game.

WEC is disbanding their WW division, so it would make sense to add guys like Condit and Larson.

^I'm one of those guys. I have had a PS3 for over 2 years and still only have about 7 games for it. Last year I bought 3 games. GTA IV, NCAA Football 09, and Fallout 3. NCAA 09 is the only one I currently play.

I doubt it. I think the last bit of games on the PS2 have already been put out.
