How Do I Post A GIF From My Hard Drive?

I have a GIF file I wanted to share... But it's on my hard drive. The only way I've seen to do it is using the 'insert image' button when posting, but that asks for a URL...

(IMG)[Only registered and activated users can see links] blah blah(/IMG)

That's how I usually post pictures I find on the internets, but how about my own personal ones?

Since I don't have a URL... Do I have to host it somewhere online first? It's like 800 kb.

yeah you can host it at photobucket and share here with the links it provides

you can host it here - mmaworld menu, upload image (under image hosting)

i use the photobucket because it makes it a large image instead of a thumbnail,but like brv said you can host here but it makes it a clickable thumbnail or the ones i have hosted here do.

Oh no no no...please be as careless as possible. God knows you only truly get to know someone through mistells in IM, accidentally being copied on an e-mail meant for someone else, and posting embarrassing pictures on the net.
