Should we get rid of it to un-cluster the main forum page?

The welcome panel is the box right above the shoutbox that has all the info in it....

I'd say no. Just cause it has info in it ATM that we need. Also we could edit it from time to time with other stuff to say. ;)

What info are you referring to that you need? I think I get all that stuff elsewhere. Not being a smarty, just want to know.

Well Boo, if you really must know. What I was thinking of was making that box refresh with the lastest new thread started. Or Welcome the guests an propting them to join. Or something to that nature. We have the scrolling welcome at the top, I just was wondering if we can make that box interactive too.
