so just curious who else is stoked for modern warfare 2 and whos gonna get it?im going to midnight launch tomorrow night,my local gamestop is having a modern warfare 2 party so going to get my copy and check out what their doing for it.oh and im getting it for the 360

i read that they arent doing them for the pc i think it sucks and is needed a bunch of the pc players had a petition up for everyone to sign to send to IW to add dedicated servers last i saw they had like 20,000 sigs but i dont know if it will do any good,also on the 360 they are disabling party chat which also really sucks,i hate listening to the trash talkers on there,so i guess i will have to mute alot of people

Wow...what is their reasoning behind disabling party chat? I don't have a 360, so i don't know how important that is to a game.

well alot of people whinned on cod4 and waw that party chat was enabling people to cheat on hardcore S&D saying people were able to call out positions of the enemy while waiting to respawn,party chat is basically a private chat that you can have up to 8 players in,that would have been fine and made sense if they took it out of the hard core playlists,but why on earth take it out of all the other play lists where its not hurting anything.

only modes it will be available in are free for all,and mercenary team deathmatch makes no sense at all,i always use party chat,i have people that are on my friends list and people that i know in real life in the party so we can chat while we play,about weekend plans or whatever.i think its just a stupid move on IW's part to take it out of all playlists except two

Is it going to be THAT much better than the first? I heard it's a different company (but the same parent company or something) that made this one and historically their COD games have been sub-par...

Any truth to that? If I like playing the first COD MW game, is it going to be worth $60 for the next one?

ive talked to a few thats played this early and they say its awesome,its made by infinity ward which are the same ones that made the most popular of the series which was call of duty 4 mw.this one also you have the ability to dual wield certain weapons,which hasnt been able to be done in any of the others,this one for the multiplayer has up to a 25 kill streak reward,and it also has death streak rewards.i bet your thinking of treyarch they made the last one world at war,and they are known for making the sub par ones,they take turns making the call of duty games,so the next one next year will be back to treyarch

if you like cod mw im sure you would love this one to,like i say same guys made this one,its a continuation of the mw story,takes place something like 5 years after the first mw story
