For a line up that isn't finished, it is still pretty damn impressive. They need to get Alistair Overeem and a few others on that.

Poor Dan Henderson will never make the roster due to the UFC's sell your soul policy.

If Monson wins a fight, does he run out of the ring and pee on a national monument? Maybe he can spray paint his opponent like they use to do in pro wrestling!

How did Arlovski make the game? I thought his likeness was owned by The UFC and THQ as well

^That's what I thought too, considering he was in Undisputed 2009. In this interview at about the 18:08 mark, they say he's going to be in the EA MMA game, though.

Saw this today...

Strikeforce middleweight Tim Kennedy is the latest addition to the "EA Sports MMA" videogame roster.

Kennedy previously announced his involvement in the project, as MMAjunkie.com ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) previously reported, though EA Sports officials made it officially only overnight.

The game, available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, is expected to be released in late summer 2010.

Kennedy (11-2 MMA, 2-0 SF), a veteran of the U.S. Army (7th Special Forces Group) who later joined the Texas National Guard so he could continue his fighting career, previously competed in the WEC and IFL before signing with Strikeforce in 2009.

Competing on two Strikeforce Challengers cards, Kennedy picked up a TKO victory over Nick Thompson and submission win over then-undefeated Zak Cummings. He's now won 11 of his past 12 fights since suffering a TKO loss (due to a cut) to Scott Smith in his pro debut.

I see he was already on the list, but as of today it's official. Plus I like putting in a plug for the guy when I can... ;)

Please welcome Tyron Woodley to the EA SPORTS MMA roster: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Great addition to the roster. I want to see more guys like his on the game. Hopefully they throw Lyle Beerbohm and Billy Evangelista in there soon.

Dan Henderson signs EA SPORTS MMA contract live at Madden Bowl in Miami.

Kind of surprised to read this after all the stuff we've heard about the UFC making guys sign lifetime likeness contracts. I guess Dan didn't sign one of those. lol

^Yeah the only thing that appeals to me with the UFC game is that they have a huge fighter roster. Like you said, the game doesn't look that much different than last years, other than they added southpaw. It just seems like the graphics are too choppy to me. The fighters dont seem to move fluidly.

Agreed. I created a few fighters on UFC Undisputed and got bored with it quick. Way too repetitive. In fact I get bored with all games pretty quickly anymore. I guess it's a sign of old age. The only game I played the crap out of in the last couple of years was Fallout 3. Really looking forward to Fallout: New Vegas in October.
