I dont see anywhere on the site where there is feedback on MMA academies.... I know its a relativity new site but I trhink it would be good in the long run. Right now Im in San Jose and there are 3 schools Im looking at.....ISKA (Bobby Southworth), American Kickboxing Academy (Koscheck, Josh the punk thompson, Daniel Puder, etc), and Shamrocks school....
Any advice on where I can find feedback?

You might want to try this link ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). I don't know if they have feedback or just a listing of schools. If you check it out, let us know what you find.

Well I am always gonna pull for a Shamrock school....:rage2oe:
But thats just me, I know that 9 times out of 10 you can walk right into any gym and tell the people that are in charge. "I am interested in joining up." They will often either have a plan to let you participate in a few lessons for free, and show you around before they discuss prices. I know that how it is at my gym.
I would recommend that you try that at all of the gyms close to you. Then make an informed decision based your own personal findings, and budget < most important part :ugh:

When I went to GNC for supplements the other day , the ASST manager asked me where I was training (I was wearing a Throwdown MMA Shirt). I started talking to him and he was rather dissapointed with the school. He said he paid $200 a month for 6 months and worked with Shamrock twice..... He said those sessions were great but he felt kinda ripped off overall. The AKA has a ton of UFC guys including both Koscheck and THE QUICK MIKE SWICK.....Im leaning that direction but I need to go sit in on a couple nights and see which looks best for me
