^It's because the UFC doesn't really want him to fight, but they are contracted to, from the PRIDE purchase. Most likely his fight will be televised, one way or another. There are no title fights, and when the Prelims are on Spike, most fights make it on the air.

Mirko ‘CroCop’ Filipovic will be stepping in for an injured Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 119, Fighters Only can confirm.

We broke the news of Nogueira’s withdrawal earlier and can now confirm that Filipovic is the replacement.

It may not have a title fight, but the matchups do interest me. I always like to see the Iowa boys on the card (Stephens) and good to see Sherk back. I'm betting on Lytle taking the rematch against Serra. I'm interested to see how Mir and Cro Cop stack up, but at first look I'm thinking Mir wins it early. Mark Hunt is a fighter I've always liked, but feel like he's never lived up to his potential. I'd like to see him make the most of this opportunity, whether the UFC really wanted him or not. I don't have high hopes though.
