Ok we all helped FBN makes himself some logos. We also all made some nice looking pics for his myspace page. Now I would like to ask all the members to pool their creative juices, again. I am wanting to make this forum a badge/patch to wear on my fight shorts. If we can create a really nice looking logo for MMAWorld, and to include the site address. I can get it made. I wanted to ask everyone here to please chip in. Since we all make up this site, and are all a part of it. :grouphug:


The final copy and selectedf pic must be done by the 29th or 30th of December! So lets get rolling, people :D

I was thinking along the lines of a globe, but I don't know how well something like that would work with writing on it.

Nice, I likethat. Are there any artists on here. Or at least somebody who could draw that up? I think a globe would be nice too. It does not have to have anything written on it, We can write above or below it.

I like the globe. I think the first one you posted would work also with a few color changes. I will attempt the drawing and let you know something tonight on how it goes. I am letting you know give me a little time it may take a few hours not counting the mess ups:D

Would the preferred globe be on a stand or the hands actually holding the world? Put like "The World of MMA has come"

Ok gang, I have some good news...and some other news. My wife said she will help us to draw up a logo like we said. However we can use any logo we like for this site. I personally will be using the one my wife makes as a badge. I will make hers into the badge to wear on my fight shorts. If we all do not like her drawing thats fine, we can vote on anyone. But she made me promise that no matter if anyone else's is better, if she has to do it, I must use hers alone :D


Will post her pic. ASAP might not be till the first, or so. She is a little busy now, but may be able to hook me up for my B-Day! ;)

I am doodling one. When I get done I will post it anyway for all to see. Probably won't use it but I will show all though. I agree easy to have her do something would mean alot and give motivation. I think that is awesome.

I personally do not like the world looking like it is the guys head....

I love the markings on the "Jesus" and the crosses on the figure though.

Yeah, if you made it like the Atlas guy...holding the world on his back. Then that would be nice. And to have the guy wearing the MMA gloves or the two gloves in the center clashing is a good idea too, but something should be there to fill the void.

I was going with the globe cuped in a pair of gloved hands, idea too. I thought maybe he didnt add that cause its a draft....but then I re read what he put I was thinking of putting a fist or 2 in the center of the world either clashing or just a single?? Hey now if we are going to get into that, then I must insist it be an English teacher. I have multiple past English teachers I'd like to put in a rear naked choke.

@Easye: I can be painfully focused. Actually, I am planning on talking with a gal who works for me tomorrow. She is pretty talented at drawing, but knows nothing about fight gloves and such. I thought I'd run it by her and see what she thinks. Since your wife is going to do your patch, we don't have near the hurry on getting this done for the forum. Wish my brother wasn't so impossible, I know he could do an awesome job.

wow, let me say this:

thank you to every person that is contributing to this site and this effort to brainstorm for a logo. This makes me want to continue staying up late making sure that the site is running smooth for everone etc. So thank you to every member here.

I agree about spelling out the MMA and stressing the friendship/respect factor. That's really what makes us different.

LMAO! For whatever the reason, when I clicked save image it saved the thumbnail and not the actual banner. I was half way to sleep, when I said "Self, how does something 110x19 make a webpage banner." So I return to see this posted :D Fire me later!

No, I gave her only the idea of what I/we wanted and she turned it into that. :D I was the director, but she did all the hard parts. I then added the fonts, via photoshop ;)

I have been trying to think if it matches with easeye's "globe being held in 4 oz. gloved hands" logo. For some reason I like HIS slogan with HIS logo, AT LEAST FOR HIS FIGHT TRUNKS, but separately I like your slogan. Not sure if that makes sense.

@ duran : I will be having the site logo as you see it on my shorts, prolly the rear right leg...my "Saint" logo may or may not be on there....depends on the lady that is gonna make them. I am still waiting to hear from her. :(

@ Kanablz : Sorry to not give you any props on the slogan. I did like it, but didnt think it fit what I was doing for my logo. I agree it is very catchy though. We just need a pic that matches with it.
