This is the Arena, I am guessing the price/seat is as follows:
Floor: $400
Red: $300 - $200
Blue (high level) $100 - 50
From having been there.....not really a bad seat in the house...but it has been a while since I was there...
Who wants what level? Let's make a choice....if I want to take my wife I have to go $100 each
If I dont want to take here...I can go $200 nothing more....
Chime in ASAP

wish i could :(
Anyone want to drop the cash to get the $400 seats on the floor? I'm coming out alone so I don't have to buy two. I'm unlikely to get another chance to sit this close for this price again.
If no one is up for it, I'll sit with everyone else.

what model camera is it?
It's a Nikon Coolpix E8700. It's about a year old so they probably have half a dozen new models after it.
I just bought Adobe Photoshop for photos and video. I haven't even loaded it yet. I can't wait to get into that. I've used a Corel program in the past so I hope this Photoshop is similar but better.

Well behaved out of town drunks yes. lol
We are not big drinkers but occasionally we drink when the kids are off at a friends or something.
I was in the USMC and I think drinking is a requirement for all enlisted men. Not to mention pretty much everyone in my family drinks. I have been around RESPONSIBLE drinkers my entire life. So it has never been a big deal.
With the exception of the USMC. There are alot of knuckleheads there.
Also a well-behaved one. Sounds like I'm about the same Mastiff. Once in a while I'm in the mood. Something tells me I'm gonna be in the mood. How long of a drive is it for you?
Hey Brvheart does the Arnold Classic have stuff going on Sunday too? I need to figure out how many days I'm going to stay. I'll at least be there Friday and Saturday night.

Throw all your change every week in a container. You'll be surprised how fast it adds up. When you are tempted to stop at a fast food, go home and make something better for you anyway and stuff the $5 bucks in your UFC ticket fund container. Maybe you don't eat fast food, but everyone wastes money somewhere.
I've been thinking about the idea of going to dinner after the Arnold Classic and before the UFC event. I think I'm going to want to go back to the hotel after being out all day and then having a long night ahead of us.

Brvheart, what time were you thinking on meeting up with Boo and the others?
Boo, what time were you planing on eating? And can it be a little closer to Brvhearts house. I think he can't make it out that early cause he has kids to tend with. But if we all chip in and make his day lighter we may be able to keep him out longer ;) Say like we meet half way from the area in between his house and there?
Boo, fighting anywhere and anytime is always welcome in my book :thumb: Maybe brvheart can school us all in public, and he is the only one wearing a MMAWorld shirt...the rest of us wear shuredogz and others like it so they dont wanna go see the losers websites lol.

if anyone is rolling I def want to be in on it. Always looking for new techniques to put my son and his friends. I prefer brunch if we are eating. Depending on how busy I am sometimes I eat 3-5 times a day other times once a day as in once in a 24-26 hour period.
I think Boo is right though early morning may be tough. I will probably be so excited I won't be able to sleep Friday night and when I finally do won't be able to wake up on time.

Geez Easye, Mastiff and I are already driving like 800+ miles. That's a little more than half way.
@Brvheart: What times are you planning on being at the A.C.? You've been before, fill us in on approximate start and stop times. Maybe we should plan a meal around when you are going to be heading for that. I know the venue is close to the hotel Mastiff and I are staying at.

Anyone remember when they usually hold the weighins the day before? When it's out in Vegas, I think it's in the afternoon...

Easy- I have about 5 hours more of drive time than you and by the way my dad's stronger than your dad so there! It looks like it might snow up here around the time we leave so that could affect some of our plans. They are talking another 8-12 inches thursday or friday. My wife and I are seriously thinking of skipping the arnold and making the weigh-ins. We just think with all the exitement both events in one day may drain us a little too much.
can't wait to see everyone there!
haven't been on lately because my 17 year old has completely infected our computer with viruses. I don't even want to turn it on for fear of what may happen.

generally speaking they are at the arena the day before the fight. sometime in the afternoon. I do know the UFC does a lot of fan based interaction at their events with autograph and picture sessions that are free with some of the top fighters. basically Chuck Liddell, BJ, Pulver etc are pretty much guaranteed to be there signing and posing for pics. That is the main reason we want to catch the weigh ins. I am guessing around noon to three. But will do some searching and find out for certain.
can't wait!!!!!

1. I will be in my senior semester (student teaching semester), taking all that time off, in the middle of the semester, and heading to Ohio from NJ would be hard.
2. Being that I am getting married and looking to purchase a home next summer, we need all the money we can save.
But like I said, I am jealous lol. Would be nice to hang out with all you guys. When I went MMANews sent me to the EXC show in May and went to UFC 78, a lot of people claimed they wanted to catch up, but I never heard from anyone come the week of the event lol

i'm not forgetting about the wings B, ever. lol
What makes you think that I
1. Had forgotten
2. Was going to invite a bunch of MMA freaks over to my house to grub?
lmao, it is 1hour 30 minutes out of the way so we will see what happens ;)

either way i'd be cool to meet up and head to an event. i dont know about all the tickets unless someone preorders em all and we pay when we get there. otherwise, i will be sitting next to dana and you guys will have to check the jumbo-tron for the fights.

Last time I ordered them and before I ordered I had the guys paypal me the cash. We sat first row - right above the private boxes and the seats were sick.
Even those that sat on the floor and in lower sections said they wished they had sat where we sat.

Speaking from experience, I can completely back up that statement. Seeing a fight from a higher position than the cage itself is MUCH nicer than sitting on the floor.
On the floor, you end up looking at the big screen for half the event because you have to deal with camera men, the cage posts, the cage, people walking around, etc. And when the floor hits the ground, you are not going to see anything, so look up at the screen. And I am talking from the press section, which is better than first row. I've sat a few rows back from the front too.
If you get off the floor seats and sit on the first balcony or under the first balcony, you have the best seat in the house.
Unless I am covering an event or something, I will never get floor seats. Cheaper w/ a better view. More bang for your buck
