Welcome to our newest member Mastiff_owner! Please make yourself at home and let us know if you need anything or have any suggestions for the site.

MMA World is a very diverse place. There is a lot to do here - the trick is just knowing where to look. Make sure to check the extras drop down in the navbar for some of things that we offer.

:greetz: Mastiff owner. Mastiffs are huge, their nicknames are "bear killers" correct?

Hey, Boo, I finally made it. To everyone else I am looking forward to reading some good discussions even if I don't participate often. I usually only come into forums during work and lately things have been pretty crazy here. So I just read and learn.

see ya on the boards!

glad to be here, finally. Ohio is a long ways from minnesota I might have to pass or at least talk to the wife. (get permission) Do you have a group going or a line on tickets? PM me and let me know.

by the way sorry about your boy matt getting decapitated by GSP. I wasn't expecting it to be so brutal.

Correct. I actually have a male Mastiff that is the family dog he just turned a year old (160 lbs) and a female bullmastiff that is the guard dog she is 110lbs. Both are great family dogs.

I've heard a lot of good things about mastiffs,; good family/guard dogs also very loyal from what I've read. True/False?

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your time here with all the information and freindly people. Have fun!!! I love Mastiffs. A freind of mine has a male breeder that clocks out at 185. He told me that and I called him a liar.....then I saw it. He was not lying at all.

You've got that right. I would've been disappointed if he hadn't brought it up.

That is very true. bullmastiffs are actually rated by the AKC as the number one security/guard dog for families.
