Muslims Demand Further Apology From Pope

Muslims in Turkey, Iraq and the Palestinian territories demanded Tuesday that Pope Benedict XVI make a clear apology for his remarks on Islam, instead of saying only that he was "deeply sorry" that Muslims had taken offense.

No one owes Muslims an apology, they owe themselves an apology. The hypocrisy in the Muslim world literally makes me nauseous; they slaughter each other wantonly, allow themselves to be abused by vicious dictators continously, have a generally lousy standard of living even though they come from rich oil producing countries, they treat women generally like garbage, are the most anti-Semitic racist people on the planet, but they get in a maniacal frenzy if anyone insults there religion. My hope that anything positive will ever come from us being in that part of the world gets dimmer every time I see this stuff. Muslims will continue to project their failures onto the west and the Jews, it is easier doing that than trying to do anything to help themselves. I don't believe that only a small minority in the Muslim world are a problem, I believe that their way of looking at the world is fundamentally flawed and that they will be mired in poverty, oppresion and war until they figure it out. When the Muslims start loving more than hating they will be on the right track.
