My only complaint

Ok, love the site and the people. just a little constructive criticism and maybe its just me.

There are way too many forums and sub forum for my liking. is there any way that some of them can be merged to just one. For instance there are like four or five just for videos. I think that could be one forum and then maybe have specific threads for certain vids. For me I am generally on here while at work and just try to basically jump in see what is going on and then minimize it and come back later I don't have a lot of time to go to every forum and see what is there. I really like the updated unread posts but often times when I come back I don't check into everything and only the updated ones.

I don't know what does everyone else think.

Have you seen the home page portal? look in the extras tab at the top of your screen, inside, click the homepag portal link.


There sometings are easier found and updated, I know RCLH prefers it. I use from time to time as well.

I will check it out but am pretty lazy. which is why I don't like searching for threads/topics. sometimes I am not even sure which forum I should post in or look for after I have posted something.

I am usually in a rush and don't look at the forum the thread is in. Like i said it just be me. i mean look at all the results forums couldn't those be one forum? Or is it necessary to have separate forums for KOTC, IFL, other, amatuer,bjj, K1 etc. I just think it would be easier to navigate. Like I said maybe its just me and if noone else has any issues then I won't mention it again. Democracy RULES!

I hear what you are saying mastiff, here is the reasons that it is set up the way that it is:

1. Organization/searchability
a. If the video section (for example) was one section, and someone went to search for a video, and it was a pride video they would have to look through everything if it was all in one section. With it being separate, you look and find pride videos, then you have what you were looking for. Also using the search feature is easier and faster when it is organized.

2. Search engines
a. Yahoo, google etc index the site and when content is organized it is more easily found when you search on google etc

Thanks Brvheart, I know how to bookmark through my browser(s). I thought there was a way to bookmark within Homepage Portal so as to have that as my default page within the forum.
