Favorite Fighting style?

Simple question right?

I would have to say that my over all favorite way to fight is submission grappling. I love to kickbox but to make another guy quit is far and above, way more impressive then a KO.;)

I would have to agree...except I pick Gracie Jiu-Jitsu/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with and without a Gi :)

Without is fine, but unless you train both you really miss out on alot. I love to fight UFC rules. But the Gi grappling teaches you how easy it is to be swept. And it makes you pay alot more attention. No gi you can be a little more agressive because you dont have to worry about someone unmounting you via your gi.

You have to learn Gi BJJ first in my opinion, it is the only way to learn the basics, Gi vs no Gi are 2 completely games. Both have thier own details, but no gi is based off gi, grips etc change, and not as many chokes....but the basics are relatively the same.

Very true. A true MMA fighter needs to learn as much as they can. So, who else has a favorite style? And G&P is NOT a style :p
