Coming off April 28's Grand Prix in Hawaii, the next leg of qualification for the 2007 K-1 World Grand Prix will take place June 23 at the Amsterdam Arena, in the Netherlands.

The Simon Rutz-promoted bill will feature a trio of superfights involving Dutch K-1 notables, as two-time World GP champion Remy Bonjasky will meet Ray Sefo (Pictures); two-time defending K-1 World GP champion and reigning K-1 super heavyweight champion Semmy Schilt (Pictures) fights recent Hawaii GP winner "Mighty Mo" Siala Siliga (Pictures); and fan favorite Melvin Manhoef (Pictures) squares off against Russian World GP regular Ruslan Karaev.

The Amsterdam GP qualification tournament already has five of the eight slots filled for the bracket, with Switzerland's Bjorn Bregy, France's Cyril Abidi (Pictures), Russians Magomed Magomedov and Zabit Samedov, and Ukrainian Maksim Neledva all confirmed to participate.

The event is also scheduled to feature two MMA bouts, each of which will feature a PRIDE vetera. MMA action will see Alistair Overeem (Pictures), a veteran of 14 PRIDE bouts, pitted against Dutch free-fight regular Michael Knapp, while recent PRIDE debutant Brian Lo-a-njoe clashes with Turkish Muay Thai standout "Kaas" Sahin Yakut.

Looks like PRIDE will be losing another one of their top fighters in Alistair Overeem. I'm not sure if this is a 1 fight deal with K-1 or what. I guess time will tell.
