K-1 TIX SALES START ONE MONTH OUT
Tickets for June 2's K-1 "Dynamite USA!!" event finally went on sale, exactly a month before Fighting Entertainment Group (FEG) launches its U.S. mixed martial arts debut event.
The event is scheduled to take place at the gargantuan Los Angeles Coliseum, and with some 90,000 seats to fill, it would seem the Japanese-based promotion would need all the time it could get to draw an audience.
Ticket prices will range from $10 for upper section seats and $1,000 for ringside seating on the field of the outdoor arena.
In the main event, Korean Hong Man Choi (1-0) faces former NCAA and WWE pro wrestling champion Brock Lesnar in his MMA debut. Royce Gracie is tentatively scheduled to face Kazushi Sakuraba in a rematch of their legendary 2000 PRIDE battle, while Johnnie Morton, a former USC Trojan wide receiver, will face a yet-to-be-named opponent.
A majority of the card remains unannounced.

I sure hope K-1 knows something I don't because I can't imagine that this is going to be anything but a disaster. Tickets on sale late, the card not fully announced, a promotion the average Joe is not familiar with, and they are having it in an area that is already saturated. :noidea:
