Was Joe a beast or what? He defined aggression. About the only bad thing I can say is that he was sloppy at times, and a more experienced fighter can capitolize on that. Brian was so overwhelmed, he probably didn't notice.

Lauzon is scary good. Did you see how excited Dana was? He knows the kid has fan appeal.

I especially like his ears and unassuming personality. Guy just comes to fight.

Did you notice what Joe said about how he could make a good living in computers and not get hit in the face.....but fighting is fun. He's not fighting because he has nothing else, it's cause he loves to fight. Now that is a recipe for success.

:gossip: I think Mastiff believes we are having a private conversation. You think I should tell him that...uh.. it's not?

I can't believe Brian Gehrity actually chose that fight. Did he not get an opportunity to watch Lauzon KO Jens? Joe is the real deal and Gehrity looked like he had no business being in the octagon with him.

He must have thought that the ko over Jens was a fluke. I still cannot believe he picked Lauzon. He was never in the fight and started flinching as soon as they engaged.

I agree with Mastiff. I think the right word to describe this kid's demeanor is unassuming. How can you dislike this kid? You feel like patting him on the head and giving him 50 cents to run to the corner store to buy himself a pack of baseball cards, yet he is a bad man in the cage.

I hope he goes all the way.

I agree 100%, Gehrity did not take this guy as seriously as he should have.

I'm sure Geraghty took him serious I just don't think he was ready for that kind of intensity. I think after watching that fight that Joe is stronger physically than he looks as well.

For me the favorite part was him just missing crushing skull bones with that insane elbow. he was trying to do serious damage there. That thing was thrown with bad intentions......and I loved it.then jsut basically jumping on hes back with the rnc. Brian had enough at that point. Joe didn't even have any hooks in he was just choking him. I'm laughing just remembering it.

Maybe Brian meant what he said about not knowing that Jens had ever fought Joe. Corey didn't even know who Jeremy Horn was, so it is possible that Brian has never seen Joe fight. I saw the fight and still didn't really know how good he was.

Brian did say that he was better than Joe in every aspect of the fight game when he picked Joe for the fight. He also seemed to have a lighthearted demeanor when picking Joe when Jens team was given the two picks. Joe went in with a fighters attitude, thats for sure. Much respect to him for the way he has handled himself. It is good to finally see BJ's team get a victory.

The Jens fight was so quick no one could really get a handle on how good he was or wasn't. That being said I think his demeanor really helps him as people under-estimate his ability/ferocity in the cage. I was surprised at the Jens fight I was impressed with him in his fight with Brian.
