We all have to do it again! Anyone up for it when Rich tries for his Title?

Mastiff_owner
05-18-2007, 12:27 AM
as long as there are no blizzards and I get permission from the wife I am definitely down.

Easye1982
05-18-2007, 12:27 AM
lol you don't need permission if she comes too :D

brvheart
05-18-2007, 12:28 AM
I am down also :) I will not miss that fight!!!

Easye1982
05-18-2007, 12:35 AM
When do you all think it will be? UFC 76, 77, 78

Mastiff_owner
05-18-2007, 12:37 AM
I am guessing 77. Unless he completely dominates Rich seems to get banged up alot. Silva is fighting at 73 so that gives both fighters a solid 4 months to prepare. Yeah going with 77. late summer early fall.

Easye1982
05-18-2007, 12:46 AM
Rich is fighting at 72 in addition to Silva at 73, so yeah if they both win...that would be a good time frame :D

77 would be in November....or maybe if it will be on the 78 card I can use it as a Christmas present for the wife :thumb:

Mastiff_owner
05-18-2007, 12:54 AM
If its november of december i am basically guaranteed to be driving through snow.

Easye1982
05-18-2007, 01:17 AM
Oh man....don't quit on me now soldier!

Mastiff_owner
05-18-2007, 01:32 AM
I never said that would stop me. I would just prefer to make a 12-13 hour trip in 12-13 hours not the 24+ it took me last time.

brvheart
05-18-2007, 09:21 AM
They said there would be a rematch even if it was not a title fight ;)

welsh_lad_04

*wishes he lived in the U.S :(*

You`ll just have to show me the photo`s :D

Thats good to hear, and I hope there is little to no snow delays when this fight rolls around.

I hope tickets are priced close to where they were at the last event....brvheart you know what section I want ;)

Mastiff_owner
05-18-2007, 06:45 PM
I would actually like to sit where you guys were for this one. Of course either that or floor seats........

Boo
05-18-2007, 11:39 PM
I can't remember where, but I'm pretty sure I heard November for this fight.

Mastiff_owner
05-19-2007, 12:31 AM
it usually isn't too bad in November. course my luck you never know.

Boo
05-19-2007, 12:38 AM
Because of the timing I don't think I'm going to be able to make this one, as much as that pains me. If it was a few months earlier or a few months later then I could. I'm hoping it gets delayed so I can go. *Boo ducks in case someone throws something*

Mastiff_owner
05-19-2007, 12:40 AM
stapler goes through moniter

Not sure it would be the same without you. If Boo doesn't go mastiff doesn't go...........errrrrrr well we'll wait and see on that one. If I go I will prob take our 17yo. he's been dying to go to a UFC event since we left him at home for 68.

You KNOW it will kill me to miss it. One thing I'd do different is I think I would stay in the hotel closest to the venue.

I def agree. It was only 5 miles or so but I want something where there are more eateries than McDonalds within walking distance. Would also prefer to walk to the arena.

Especially after my taxi cab experience. Still gives me chills. By the time you guys found me a cab, I already was scoping the people in the lobby looking for someone who looked like they were going to the show. My next step was to beg a ride.

The wife will be at this one for sure....she was sad that she missed the 68 one.

There are certain things that supercede even an education. Besides what's one day???? No worse than anyone else missing a day of work.

Oh....so I'm invited this time? Hmmm...I guess last time [UFC 68] you guys didn't want me around. *not that I'm upset or anything*

It was open enrollment then for 68, just like it is now. JJ, Python, hunter, MMAfan, any member is welcome. I just thought that since you wanted to be at 68 so bad, that you would not miss it this time round.

sounds to me like you need to find time to go train. Clear your mind and get back on track. Training or golf is what I do when it gets like that.
