View Full Version : Why didn't Dana send Andy Wang home?

Anyone else wonder why Dana didn't tell this guy to pack his bags and go home? Wang came off like a whiner. He sat there with his head down mumbling and with other bad body language while in the presence of a guy who can make or break your career. I know an opportunity when I see one. I would have been so fired up to prove that BJ was wrong and been so happy to have been given a second chance by The Boss. I guess I am old school or maybe it is this generation, but I think it is disrespectful to your boss to act like he was with his hat on sideways, sitting down, not making eye contact, slouching, mumbling, etc. I would have fired the kid. Stand up like a freaking man, shake hands, say "yes sir", "no sir", "thank you sir". Take your freaking hat off or at least wear it properly. This is not a$$ kissing. It's called manners and being respectful. There must be some reason that Dana did not go off on this kid and fire him. It can't be because the kid is a great fighter. There are other alternates there who already lost in case someone gets hurt. Could it be because of the contract to appear and participate on the show that Andy actually didn't violate any real rules (like leaving the house to meet a lifeguard, not making weight) and that if he did send him home, DANA would be the one in breach of contract? It seemed like Dana was kissing this kid's a$$. I wanted to backhand that kid.

It's amazing Dana didn't destroy Andy. I sure would have. I would kill to have an opportunity just to train with Jens, he's one of my favorite fighters. Andy needs to buck up and show some respect.
But somehow, I get the feeling that it was all a Dog and Pony show.

I think it was more the fact that he didn't break any rules to warrant getting kicked off the show. I think a better solution would have been to let BJ have him for 5 minutes in the cage and if he survived he could stay on team Penn otherwise he would have to leave the house.

Andy didn't do much in his fight...outside of not doing a thing BJ screamed at him for 10mins. I am unsure why he was even offered a second chance in the first place.
Good question duran. I tend to agree that it had to be something like Andy not breaking any "official" rules. They probably don't have a requirement for not being completely stupid.
I was watching his idiotic behavior with my mouth dropped open. What is wrong with this kid? He should have been thanking Jens and Dana for giving him another chance. Especially Jens. Really Jens was under no obligation to take this guy on, he was BJ's pick. Andy should have been throwing in a lot of, "sirs" and "I don't deserve it," etc.
I have a better idea. Send the next little dirtbag to my house for a Boo-smack. I could also throw in one of those yells made famous by Cher in the movie Moonlight. "SNAP OUT OF IT!"

Is Andy back in the competition or just training with Jens' team? If he is back in he won;t be around long.

I think Andy may have just committed carreer suicide. He can look up Gabe and they can go get some ice cream. How do fighters not figure out that they can't cross Dana if they want this to be a career?
I've just finished editing my recording of this episode and Andy was just as annoying the second time around.
@Mastiff, I don't think Andy needs much help from Dana to commit career suicide.
