I've had this for over 2 months. It has definently helped with production of muscle. although for me, it's very hard to down. Mostly cuz i hate plain ole milk. anyone else here ever taken it?

My brother loves the stuff (cause it works....not taste) He cuts it with a serving of slim fast for taste and vitamins and minerals.

No need to worry about the slimfast it only will make you loose weight if thats all you take. The way it actually works is to fill your stomach with mostly air so you think your full. To mix it with your protein shake is helpfull to cut the taste, and adds alot of extra stuff ;)

I personally prefer something else.... [Only registered and activated users can see links] 0963QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Sadly love handels and abdominal fat in general is gained from a number of different things, it takes people years to get "fat" so there is never a quick fix. Like I said slimfats makes you think/feel full...if you cont. to eat like a pig it will actually make you fatter, because its made for it to be the only thing you eat. As far as a nice weight loss I found the the stacker 2 pills along with running, jumping jacks, jumping rope, etc. Will work fine. Also just try to sit and relax in a wet/steam suana. The dry heat ones are not the best for loosing weight. hope that helped a little....

do not drink muscle milk for lossing weight no matter what anyone or the carton itself says.

thats BS!!!

Slimfast? eh maybe but not many people in MMA use slimfast that is literally for girls.

But back to muscle milk, its not superb tasting but its known for being one of the best, if you cant down it then you wont be able to down many other weight gaining shakes.

As for me i drink it all the time too and the guy specifically told me at GNC that it does not help you loose any weight

do some cardio, drink muscle milk and keep working out, dont drink it and not work out.

it doesnt build muscle on its own.

Although I do not advocate products like Slimfast for weight loss, it is actually a nutrionally sound product, low sugar and high in vitamins and minerals. No worries adding it to a protein shake for the purpose of masking the flavor.

Yeah, if you drink the protein shake, then sit down and do nothing you are going to add weight and fat....and defeat the purpose of the shake ;)

Here's the breakdown of Muscle Milk:

Total Calories: 348
Calories From Fat: 162
Total Fat: 18 g 28%
Saturated Fat: 8 g 40%
Cholesterol: 3 mg 1%
Sodium: 200 mg 8%
Potassium: 595 mg 17%
Total Carbohydrates: 12 g 4%
Dietary Fiber: <2 g 8%
Sugars: 6 g
Protein: 32 g 64%

I would classify it as a "recovery" supplement. (Recovery, as in, just worked out.)
Too much fat and too many carbs.

----------------------------------------------
Honestly, you are better off taking plain whey protein powder PRE-workout:

Then a glutamine product POST-workout:

Using this post-workout will prevent your muscles from being broken down to provide nutrients to your system.

P.S. ... if you are going to put ANYTHING in your mouth and then just sit on the couch... I would much rather see it be protein than fats or carbs. Less calories per gram, and it doesn't kick your insulin into overdrive.

Exactly, it's a recovery supplement. Mainly used after very intensive training. I don't personally use it and think that basic Whey Protein shakes are fine.

I just noticed this. Yeah, I wish you could see the brawny heavyweight I know with his strawberry slimfast.

Sorry, but I think that is a ridiculous statement.
