Loss of information etc!!

hello all, there was a loss of info on the site, all the post etc are still here, but a lot of the customizations that I have put in are no longer working or just plain gone. I apologize for the inconvenience, but will try to get all the things added back that I can. if you find something that does not work but used to, please report it here ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

ok, sad news...aftera few weeks of trying to make things how they used to be before this data loss (major mistake on the part of the host - did not have a back up) I am going to have to do what I have been fighting....completely start over from scratch.

What does this mean??
This means that all skins, addons etc will be gone. All the post etc will be just fine and still here....so that is good :)

I have started to prepare to do this and will do it as fast as I can, I will be starting this weekend. After I get the forum back up, I will then slowly add back in the things that we had.

Just a FYI - things like the NAVBAR at the bottom of post, the mmaworld custom menu, number of new post in the main page, the banners, stats in the header, time we have been online, donation system, extras menu, quick style chooser at the top, mobile styles, customized usercp, lots of the usercp options, plaza, vbookie, etc etc etc will all be gone until I can add them back in.

I have to upgrade to the newest version etc, which means that the styles you are used to will not work as I do not have the $$ to purchase them again right now. I will save up and purchase what I can, but it will not be immediate.

I have a lot of work to do, so I am going to get to it...I will post a message when the board is down and you will need to read and try again later....sorry for any inconvenience to you on this...


The future looks bright for us, after I get this upgrade etc done....as I add things back in we will also be moving sections etc around and removing sections. I have heard some suggestions of areas that are not needed/used or that the forum is cluttered, since I have always strived to be a "peoples" forum and listen to the majority (as long as it is not totally crazy) I will be working on the above.

Lol- he even knew the name of the theme song. Guess I can't say much. I've probably seen every episode up until 2000... if they made them that long.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot; whatever you do don't lose Dear RCLH ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). The site just wouldn't last without it. *...just a good ol' boys, never meaning no harm...something, something...been in trouble with the law since the day they were born...*

I thought I'd let the rest of you know that I lost my satellite Internet at home recently due to some nasty storms here. I hope that the repairman can get over here next week, but with the holiday who knows. I'm popping in, but not near as much as usual.

ok, one more set of upgrades, then I will start to pull what does not work, and try to make work what I think are the essentials. VBplaza and vbookie might not be back at all :( I will try hard to get them working....but can not promise anything :(

Hey brvheart I just had to do a search for the MMAworld fighter section...I found my area but its no longer on the main page. Is this one of the areas under construction?

I did notice it, I have been useing the seach feature to find posts I have made in the past. I just assumed they were missing due to repairs not cause I'm the red-headed step child......
