I am sooo looking forward to this season. The only thing I'm not sure of is how much Serra is going to annoy me with his incessant trash talk. There is always the mute button.

I am really not that excited about it. I dont know why, but there hasnt been any anticipation since season 2 or 3.

Would that have been about the time we started getting more mma on free TV? When TUF started we were all pretty starved for mma.

not that pumped, was more pumped for TUF 5

and boo I dont really see how serra talks trash all the time. He wasn't the one who told GSP to learn how to defend the armbar lol

Blame my opinion on my mma podcast addiction in addition to his mouth during the TUF show. Every interview I've heard with Serra he is bad mouthing Matt Hughes; and after his fight with GSP, bad mouthing GSP too. With Serra it's not him making a bad joke either, it's no doubt name calling, etc. Even when GSP sincerely publically apologized for some of his comments, Serra still won't relent.

^^^what else do you call it?

I'm pumped for it and will watch every second. From the teaser/trailer though, it looks like these guys feel the need to be the rowdiest, craziest cast yet (I see fire! Fire...bad!) and want to top what the guys on TUF 5 did. By TUF 8 or 9, the cast will have to blow up the house with C-4 and give Dana a swirlie to top the other seasons. The show has come a long way since the food fight days...

The guys look as if they fight ALOT on here or when they do they have a bad one. I think it is going to be a bunch of trash talk going on and hopefully Hughes will not get into it that much but if the occasion arises he will talk some but he is truly capable of doing what he says he will. MAtt Serra has the belt now and should just cherish the victory he achieved because after he faces Hughes and gets demolished back down the ladder he goes to get demolished by GSP If they happen to ever fight again.
