Tito....cocky as usual!

Surprising to some, Tito Ortiz announced at the UFC 63 weigh-ins that he had just received and signed a contract to fight Chuck Liddell on December 30th in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. This despite his pending bout with Ken Shamrock on October 10th in Florida.

After the weigh-ins, Tito spoke on camera about how high his confidence is coming into the rematch and why he thinks he can defeat the champ. He also gave his thoughts on his training, the rematch with Ken Shamrock, and his estimate on how long it will take him to defeat Shamrock for a third time.

As per MMAWeekly, I hope Ken wins this one, even better would be if Ken won and Tito could not fight Chuck. lol Sorry Im just tired of how Tito is just so cocky. Will Ken win....more then likely, not. Am I sad at that....10000% Will I watch it, 50/50. Ken has done so much for MMA as a sport and right now all he is doing is giving the younger geration fuel for the "titolovin" fire. You dont see Ali coming out to fight Ray Lewis. I wish Tito never started this fight, cause it really is sad to see a great man, a man who earned his nickname....be too old to fight like he could in the past.

i agree with most of what u say.

Its sad of how people think of ken, he deserves their respect not hate.

He is old now and not able to hold in MMA, due to this his record has declined and people yell, your old, you suck, who have you beat? who have you beat RECENTLY?!?!?

Its just sad, i still have hope, give tito hell on OCT 10 shammy!!

Tito must have had some brain cells destroyed during the first beat down that Chuck gave him.:dunce: Seriously though, I am looking forward to this fight, Tito is a great fighter and can win the fight if he is able to take Chuck down, that is not easy, ask Babalu. tito gained some respect in my eyes for the way he trained his fighters on TUF, I was a little disappointed by the way Ken trained his fighters. I would like to see Ken beat Tito but I don;t thin that is going to happen.

Unfortunately, I do believe that Tito will win vs. Ken coming up. Tito is cocky and I dont like him at all for his mouth and his comments but he can fight and that is all that UFC is about. As for this upcoming fight against Chuck, I believe he took it because of the last fight with Ken. He knows or at least he hopes that it will not go anywhere near the distance and Ken really has not hurt Tito in previous fights. Ken is not Chuck and that is for sure and that is what I don't think Tito understands, he got pounded last time and I can only hope Chuck spanks him again similar to what Randy did, and I would love every moment.

Agreed shackk, I like Tito fighter wise but i think his mouth bites off a little more than it can chew sometimes. The greatest thing ever Ken putting a fist in it and KO's him in the first round. But if he dosen't accomplish that then I am sure that Chuck will be more than happy to AGAIN! Who is your top fighter?
