Shamrock?s Last Stand?

Thomas Gerbasi, UFC - 78 seconds. For Ken Shamrock, it was a number he just couldn’t live with. Controversially stopped in the first round by Tito Ortiz in July, the UFC Hall of Famer jumped up almost instantly after referee Herb Dean called the bout after a barrage of shots from Ortiz and pleaded with anyone within earshot to let him out of the nightmare he was experiencing.

:( I wish I had something to say....but I all can think about is how painfull it must be for Ken. Here he is a great pioneer in the sport of MMA. One of the best early MMA fighters. Did alot of hard work and started his own camp, to train others. But then some young punk kid, decides to show total lack of respect and Ken feels like its his personal goal in life to shut this guy up. If only Ken was 5-7 years younger. Tito would never live to fight again. Or at least have no middle figers to point anymore.

I often wonder how Tito would have faired in early UFC? Could he have drawed with Royce? Could he have beat Bas twice....with the same move ;)

I would also like to add that all of Tito's fan base....like him mostly because of his nickname...well last I looked Tito was a fake on that subject alone. Anyone ever see the movie "Malabu's Most Wanted" well that is what "Huntington Beach Bad Boy" reminds me of. There is no "ghetto" or "wrong side of the tracks" to Huntington Beach....Tito is a spoiled rich kid.

He has a H and a B on his arm....to "represent" where he is from. LMAO

True he was a "bad ass" or troubled youth :P but so was Shamrock. Ken and Frank both eneded up in the same foster home. But turned out with respet and pride in what they stand for.

It makes me sad to think that Ken could win the fight with Jacob C. "Tito" Ortiz, if he was not loosing the fight with father time.....I still love and respect the man who earned the name "World's Most Dangerous Man"

Give him hell Ken and make it so after you win and retire, he never will forget.
1. Casue you'll be retired so no more fights for you :P
2. Cause you beat him so badhe wont be able to fight Chuck in next month :)
