For me it would be my Father in Law (Whom is walking with Jesus now). The greatest thing to ever happen in my life was my wife. If I had never met her I would not have met him. He was a man who would do anything for anybody. Seeing him walk daily with God and Jesus made me long for something that I had never experienced. My life had a hole in it and I never new it. I only had the opportunity to know him for about 4 years but if it wasn't for that short time I would still be lost. My testimony is to never miss an opportunity to spread the word of the great love of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. You never know if it is your last chance before leaving the earth to tell someone about Jesus, or to say I Love you to your wife, girlfriend, kids, or family member. You have to attempt to live every moment for the Glory of God and to do his good works. You have to allow the Holy Spirit to work through you for the greater treasure in life and that is for him Jesus Christ. That is what I learned from him My Father in law, My Saint! After my father in law passed away a war began brewing in me because I did not know why God would take such a great person when they were valued so much here. After many many talks with fellow Christians and an e-mail a friend sent me I realized why these things happen. The e-mail follows that broke me down in my time of need and gave me the courage and understanding that I needed to get over the wall I had put up and to continue on in my faith, I hope it touches everyone who reads this as it touched my heart. I leave now saying don't miss the chance to change someones life!

PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON

I am sending this to you to see how many actually read their e-mail. Your response will be interesting. Pay attention to what you read. After you have finished reading it, you will know the reason it was sent to you. Here goes:

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

I can not think of a specific person, but a verse that stands out very plainly for me is John 11:43. Actually all of John 11 is a great witness to Jesus and his plans for us despite our personal hardships. It shows Jesus' love and caring nature for His children. But more over the resurrection of Lazarus is a perfect picture of how all of us are saved. We are all dead in our sins, as Lazarus was dead. Verse 17 and 39 say Lazarus was dead and in the tomb for four days by the time Jesus got there. And verse 39 stats the the body Lazarus every was beginning to stink. So therefore just as Lazarus would be unable to resurrect himself, we are unable to save ourselves. Thus bringing me verse 43, Jesus shouts "Lazarus come forth!" Jesus says this to a man dead in a tomb for four days, he (Lazarus) heard the voice of The Lord. NOT because he (Lazarus) had ears that were working and could hear. NOT because he (Lazarus) had legs that could walk himself towards God. NOT because he (Lazarus) could walk himself still blindfolded and wrapped in the burial clothes (verse 44). But ONLY because God wanted Lazarus resurrected. God made his ears to work, so Lazarus could hear The Word. God made his legs to work, so Lazarus could walk from the tomb. Lazarus had no control over his own salvation, just the same way we as Christians have no control over our own salvation. We are spiritually dead, and thus unable to hear God. Until He opens our spiritual ears.

Well after that nice little sermon, I would like to close by saying that the first time I ever heard John 11:43 I shuttered. It had power that at the time I had no idea what I was hearing, I only know that I wanted to know more about a Man who could control the weather, the dead, give sight to the blind, heal the leapers, and give His own life for ALL who are written in The Lambs book of life.

The verse that rings true in my ears is John 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone. My life was strayed off the path for years, almost a decade [I grew up in church and then joined the Army, and the rest is history], and i did some things that I am not proud of. That leads me to the greatest person I know. First and foremost is Jesus Christ. The next 3 can't be put in any order but they are my Dad, my wife, and my son. My dad because he is a strong man with a huge heart. when I was straying, his constant love, support, & guidance helped get me on the right path, and for that, as well as so many other things, I am eternally grateful. My wife who is my rock, who loves me [and puts up with me], and supports me. Not to mention, she gave me the greatest gift, my son. There is nothing I would not do for him, and seeing him cemented the importance of making my life right to set a good example.7 years old and showed my wife and I our new church family [He went to VBS there and loved every minute of it]
For the fighter side of me, my greatest insiration for that is Matt Hughes. His constant faith is proof that a man can love his family, love God, and love MMA. Seeing his lifestyle got me into training. Great man!

As self-centered as I might sound; in reality, I inspire myself and have been the greatest single motivation and source of understanding in my life.

This one is easy for me to answer now. My son. I never knew such love existed. He makes me want to be a better person.
