I guess I am just curious to know. UFC 64 will be the first time I actually go to a bar to watch since normally everyone crashes my place since they know I order it religiously.

Not alot of people or places around here into it, so I order my own and watch it, my Wife will sit and watch some of it and ask whos winning or how do they do that. Then if the blood flies...How can you watch this, what do you get out of it? I just tell her stress relief and a rush. I keep 135lbs curlbar and all in the living room. If I start getting really worked up i start pumping them out till my arms aint worth a crap...literally!

lol me too...all though I have a pair of 25 lb dumb bells. I can get alot more variations in with them, as to a whole curl bar setup. ;)

I take 2 ten pound weights off of it and start throwing punches and sparing with them. I love the burn and pain. Nothing like it!

I do something close to that. I have a 3lb pair wrist/hand weights. I shadow box and do jumping jacks with them.
Hummm....My behavior is much more normal. I merely give the fighters instructions and give a running commentary in my head.

Me brother and I chip in for it and watch it at his place. It's cool cuz his wife is into MMA too.

We always order them at home. Occassionally a couple people might come over but they get offended when I tell them to shut up, move or just leave because they want to talk about everything other than fighting.
It is actually getting so it bugs my wife when they start yapping as well. I really don't know many people that I would hang out with that get into mma like I do so it is safer for all involved just to leave me, my rantings, my commentary and my fighter instructions alone.

Too funny. I can picture it. I fear that if we watched it together Mastiff, we might get into a verbal brawl if we didn't agree on the "fighter instructions."

I have a sneaking suspicion that our fighter instructions would be eerily similar. I think we would have issues when we were rooting for opposite fighters and you were screaming instructions your fighter was following and mine was ignoring me......
i occassionally yell at myself when that happens. lol
Otherwise I think it would be a blast to watch mma with someone else that knows what the heck they're talking about.

You know I have never watched a PPV with anyone who is as big of a fan as I am. Even at the live fights I've never sat next to anyone who had a clue. I did watch a fight with Mike Swick, but we were glued to the action and I kinda forgot he was there. LOL. Frankly I didn't find him very interesting.

BTW, there is a big event (relatively) coming up on April 28. It's only 20 minutes from my home. PM me your email address so I can send you the info tomorrow. I can't get on the forum at work during the day.
