FSN needs to make up its mind about when Pride Fighting is going to be aired. The time seems like it is changed on a weekly basis. The last Pride TV show I saw was great and had several very good fights.

Yeah, no consistency at all...kinda frustrating when our sport is finally taking off in to the main stream.

I can't beleive that Championship Poker and Championship solitaire are a bigger ratings winner than Pride Fighting. They could really develop a big following for it if they commit to putting it on at a consistant time and day.

Unfortunately, FSN shows different stuff for EACH region!
I'm West Coast... and tomorrow (Sun) we get PRIDE Fighting at 9pm.

We mostly get Pride events on the weekends, and I've even seen few K-1 shows!

That is one great thing about the DISH TV DVR, I just tell it to record all PRIDE events and I don;t even have to think about it.

I couldn't even tell you what time half the shows I watch come on anymore, I never watch them live.

Oh yeah...no commercials also...a big time saver.

I don't get FSN, at least I haven't ponied up for it yet, but I was wondering about ESPN. If I put something as generic as kickboxing in a DVR would it pick up the various kickboxing events on ESPN2 or would I need something more specific than that?

Comcast Cable (NOT basic) carries FSN and if you get their DVR you can auto-record just like prophet does.

There's not a LOT of Pride/K-1 action, but anything is better than watching Simpsons reruns !!

LOL

You forget I'm in the boonies. No cable, only satellite. Dish Network to be exact. I need to ask again about FSN. Seems like when I first got the dish, the price seemed exorbitant, but I don't really remember.

The other night I just happened to catch some K-1 on ESPN2. I just don't know how DVRs work. Do you have to give a specific name or can I just say "kickboxing" and have it record any kickboxing that comes on.

It searches by title, so as long as the word you are searching for appears in the title, it will find it. For example, I put in PRIDE and got a whole list of the PRIDE shows plus movies like Pride and Prejudice. You just pick and choose with ones you want and you have options like only record new shows, record all shows, or just this one instance.

This is the only reason I have been able to watch PRIDE on FSN. They move it around so much, it is almost like they don't want people to watch it.

I wouldn't pay for the FSN channel *just* to get PRIDE.. there's not enough on to justify the cost!

Well, it's just Highlights ... obviously they can't show NEW stuff.

Most fights I have *not* seen ....cuz I'm new to PRIDE.

I am also a relative new comer to Pride fighting and they may be old fights, but at least they are good, entertaining fights.

Then just recently showed the Fedor versus Zulu fight. I always find it amusing when a guy that is 130 pounds lighter than his opponent whoops some butt.

I would like to see the 2000 OWGP final fight. I have always been an Igor Vovchanchyn fan. Vovchanchyn had a 10 minute fight with Gary Goodridge and war and a half against Sakuraba in the same night before meating Coleman in the finals.

Coleman on the other hand only had to fight Akira Shoji because Kazuyuki Fujita (his next opponent of the night) couldn't fight after his match against Mark Kerr.

In my eyes.... Vovchanchyn won the 2000 OWGP.
