I think BJ must have been half asleep when Dana called and said he had a fight for him. I can't see how he would want to fight Matt:D

Well....he is the rightful owner of the title that Matt Slipped into....the fact that he took the fight on short notice....that says alot about him in itself...but yeah I agree that Matt is on a roll and this fight could go either way...but I am voting BJ!!

Glad to have you aboard BTW :)

I think BJ would be crazy to pass this opportunity up. As for the backstory, BJ wanted to take his UFC belt and fight for another organization right after he won the belt and Dana basically said if he went he was out of ufc. I don;t have a problem with Dana's decision, it was Dana's right to make that call and fire him and BJ could have stayed if he wanted to so I agree that he did walk. After watching all of the replays of their first fight it is hard to imagine Hughes winning this fight. Matt's mental state was weak when he went into the last fight. I was not all that impressed with BJ when he fought GSP, he will get tooled if he fights like that on Sat night. He is going to have to fight for more than one round if he does'nt expect to get his face pounded in.

well...BJ wanted to fight for the UFC and fight for Pride...Dana did not offer him a bigger paycheck after winning the fight, so BJ want to fight in both organizations to earn more money...you can not blame a guy for that.

I don't blame BJ for wanting more money after his victory and I question Dana White's wisdom in not giving it to him. I just don;t blame Dana White for not wanting his champion to go to another organization and promote them over the UFC. I understand why it would be unacceptable to take the UFC WW belt to a Pride ring without it being a cross proomotional fight in which both organizations would benefit. BJ knew the results of his actions and he made his decision.
