for sure, live is awesome, you dont know what your missing out on until you play against other players,i play 90% of the time on live its awesome.you dont have to have the wireless adapter you can always hard wire it from your router if your router is close enough to you 360,or you can share a connection through your laptop to your xbox and not need a wireless adapter

any other questions regarding the 360 just ask lol

My house has a loft conversion and my router is on the ground floor and im in the attic but i was making sure it was worth going online once ive got enough games but asfar as i no im getting an xbox with either PES 2009 or Fifa 09

also you get your first month free when you sign up for a live account.you can buy monthly, every 3 months or yearly subscription which ever you prefer, its cheaper though to buy yearly.like i say i hardly ever play single player,90% of my gaming time is on live, and most all games are live capable.call of duty and stuff like that is alot of fun on live.and the soccer games your talking about you could play against others on live.i have about 35 games for my 360 and i would say 32 of them are live capable. i really dont buy them unless they are.i have a bunch of friends i play with on live, and we play against others.and you can voice chat with everyone while you play great times.also you can download new content for your games through live, and download new demo's or arcade games

i wanted to go online on the PS2 because ive got around 40 games but never got round to it but im definately intrested in going live on the Xbox but i`ll probably connect straight upto the router to start with just because of cost

yeah no way i would pay that much for the wireless adapter,i just have mine hooked straight into the router as well.which model 360 were you planning on picking up?because you will want one with a hard drive so you will have storage room for download content such as maps or what not

the arcade comes with a memory card not a hard drive.it will get you by for awhile, but you will want to eventually pick up a hard drive for it.you should be able to find a 20gb hard drive on ebay for pretty cheap.thats what i have is a arcade which i put a 20gb hard drive on.but i still have my launch 360 which came with a 20 gb hard drive as well ,which i got the hard drive from, for my arcade version lol

it just snaps on the side of the xbox, very easy to install takes maybe 2 minutes, but it has to be a hard drive for a xbox 360,pc hard drives wont work like they will on a ps3.yes you can buy the arcade and later down the road buy a hard drive and put on it.if thats what you mean.like i say i have a premium launch 360 which came with a 20gb harddrive and an arcade 360,i took the hard drive off my launch 360 and use it on my arcade version
